Constructive works at the school in Furunzi

A while ago Zhenya, Vlad and Sergej have finished working on the doors at the school in Furunzi. Autoclaving metal for 4 doors wasn't a piece of cake since the stress was weak, but it didn't stop the guys.
Now the school can be closed and no school desks or other stuff will be stolen.
We thank everyone who support our mission in Africa. God bless you in your good deeds!

The story of a family from Furunzi. Massage for Emanuel.

We met Zavadi last August, when we conducted a mini-clinic in the suburb of Malindi, the village of Furunzi.
There was an amazing girl and part-time pediatrician, Sofia, providing all possible medical assistance to children from school and the surrounding area.
When Zawadi with the baby Emanuel reached us, it was impossible to look at him without tears. Our hearts were dying at the sight of a very small, thin (in his 3 months he weighed about 3 kg!), With a huge and deformed shape of the skull of his head ... Plus, he breathed with difficulty, making terrible rattles ...
Zavadi, the mother of the child, of course, turned for help to a local hospital, and her child was given a whole bunch of diagnoses, which I don’t even remember ... I only remember that tuberculosis was one of them. Local doctors did not give Emanuel many chances. According to Sofia, the pediatrician, “Such children only survive with full-fledged inpatient treatment, and they are usually in an incubator.“ We need a miracle at this point! ”- and we began to pray for a miracle, realizing that Emanuel would not be able to receive even the tenth the share of medical care available in our country, especially considering that his mother is poor and her husband is in prison. She was looking at us with great hope in her eyes, expecting that we could cure Emanuel or at least help him. But all we could do was praying, helping to buy some medicines and products for the family, and Sofia also conducted a course of professional special massage for the baby.
Today, Emanuel is a bt more than one year old. And he is alive !!! When a month ago, visiting the families of our students, we met his mother, we were so happy to see him practically healthy. Prayers work even if the result is not immediately visible. Emanuel is not a perfectly healthy baby yet and he has minor health problems, but he is alive!
Last week we started a massage course for Emanuel. Thank God that Albina is with us now, and she is a nurse and she has a long experience as a pediatric masseur. She decided to teach Emanuel's mom how to massage. So, under the strict supervision of Albina, a 10-day massage course was conducted for Emanuel, which was mainly done by Zavadi herself. And the condition of Emanuel's legs improved significantly. And every time we meet, we pray for the baby and his mother and believe that the boy has a great future.

We keep on visiting our widows.
We share the word of God. Today we talked about what conscience is.
People are really open-minded and gladly accept us.
It seemed that the children, like a sponge, absorbed everything that Eve was talking about. They listened very carefully and answered questions with pleasure.
And, of course, in the end, we give these families grocery sets which consist of flour, butter and soap.
May the Lord bless everyone who sows generously in our ministry.

Today together with @ evjan7 and Quinter we went to the village and visited the widow families that we did not meet with the last time.
Unfortunately, there is no photo, as people are embarrassed to be photographed.
We shared the word of God and prayed for people.
I shared how God came into my life and completely changed it. In addition, I talked about the fact that there are many temptations in this world, but Jesus gives us strength to resist them.
I also was talking about the love of God.
Whether you live, serve, it doesn’t matter: you dedicate a small part of yourself to God or all of yourself, if in all of this there is no love of God, then this is nothing.
God wants us to do everything we do with great love.
I want to note that people in this village are longing for the word of God and, thus, listen carefully.
The incredible presence of God accompanied us all day.
Jesus is the King!
Then, after the service, we stopped at a plantation where Denis Laptejkin planted pineapples.

Vlad and Sergey made 2 desks and a bench for the school last week. For this purpose we bought some boards, delivered them to the mission base (as there is electricity there,while at the school building there isn’t) and made the desks there. We wanted to deliver everything at once, but no such luck.
Taking into account that at the moment it's the rainy season in Malindi, and at this time it is not easy to take a tuk-tuk ride in Furunzi, you can get stuck in the mud. Today, it had not rained since the night and had dried out a little by noon. We decided to use this to take the desks to school. The desks and the bench were transported on the roof of a tuk-tuk vehicle.
Thanks to Vlad and Sergey for doing this good deed for the school in Furunzi. Bring life mission is very much grateful to you!

What do missionaries in Kenya do during quarantine?
Like almost all over the world, in Kenya since the end of March quarantine was introduced and many people lost their jobs. However, unlike countries we come from, where people usually have at least small savings, or the last salary is enough for at least a month. Here, many Kenyans have only daily wages, that is, for what they earned today, they buy food for tomorrow or maximum enough to get by for 2 days is- that's all. Therefore, this pandemic is a real test promising hunger for local residents.
But thanks to caring and sympathetic people, missionaries in Kenya help at least several poor families who don’t have enough money to buy food for their children. In particular, Bring life team organizes distribution of grocery sets to families of students from a school in Furunzi (a poor suburb of the city of Malindi), as well as to children from our teenage group and beyond.
And this is very encouraging for them since when they receive food, they see that they are not alone, God helps through good people, and this gives strength to move on. And it is also very encouraging, because we not only bring food, but also pray and talk with people and sometimes sing songs together (which is why all the neighboring children gather around us). This is a great privilege - to give joy and become an occasion for gratitude to God, in this difficult time.
Thanks to everyone who participates in our ministry through prayers and finances, together we change lives.
And we are very glad that an amazing team of Vlad Kanashin, Sergey Kanashin, Albina and Marina gathered here during this quarantine. You are a great blessing and joy to us.

Today @galina_holymix, Quinter and I visited our teens.
It’s not an easy time for them.
First off we visited a girl named Jen, but she wasn't at home. She went to the countryside to see her granny. We decided not to leave a grocery set as Jen would arrive in a couple of days.
Then, we went to a boy named Abu, who lives nearby.
Abu's father invited us in in a very polite manner. He was very glad that we care about his son. You can see him in the photo with the grocery set.
You yourselves can see the conditions in which people have to live here. People and their families can move into a haf-constructed house without any amenities at all.
Thank you, precious, since due to your support we can help people and transport products. This is so precious! May God Bless every seed you sow.
Tomorrow we are going to visit another large family and help them.
Briefly about the quarantine! There are some rules that we cannot violate - this are to wear a mask and treat your hands with a sanitizer or wash them more often.
In all stores or public places, it is mandatory to wear a mask, everyone greets each other with an elbow - a new kind of greetings.
Curfew: after 7 p.m. you can no longer go out.
Despite the fact that it’s not forbidden to move around the city and contact with other people it is strongly recommended to stay at home and, if possible, not wandering around.
