It’s amazing—people live near the coastline, yet some can go their whole lives without ever seeing the ocean. I know many such examples.
Quite simply, they don’t even have money for transportation…
Knowing this, we try whenever possible to take our students on small outings so their world isn’t limited to a clay hut and the slums they see every day.
These simple acts of love and care will stay in the hearts of these children for the rest of their lives.

Прекрасные молодежные тренинги прошли в школе Kingsway!
Пару лет назад, прилетев на миссию, Дарья Гутова познакомила нас с прекрасной южноафриканской христианской программой для подростков. Тогда она провела ее для молодежи в деревне Мвангаза, а мы поучаствовали в ней, увидели, какую большую ценность она несет и загорелись желанием также служить молодежи в Кении.
И вот, уже второй год наша команда каждый месяц проводит эту программу в разных школах.
Мы видим, как наше время, силы, эмоции и то послание, что мы несем, действительно меняют мышление и жизни молодежи.
Они ощущают эту безусловную любовь Бога-Отца, открывают для себя цель и замысел Бога на их жизнь от начала.

Amazing youth trainings took place at Kingsway School!
A couple of years ago, when Darya Gutova came on a mission trip, she introduced us to a wonderful South African Christian program for teenagers. Back then, she led it for the youth in the village of Mwangaza, and we had the chance to participate. We saw the incredible value it carries and became passionate about serving young people in Kenya as well.
Now, for the second year in a row, our team has been running this program every month in different schools.
We see how the time, effort, emotions, and the message we bring are truly changing the mindset and the lives of young people.
They experience the unconditional love of God the Father and begin to discover the purpose and design God has had for their lives from the very beginning.
Пару лет назад, прилетев на миссию, Дарья Гутова познакомила нас с прекрасной южноафриканской христианской программой для подростков. Тогда она провела ее для молодежи в деревне Мвангаза, а мы поучаствовали в ней, увидели, какую большую ценность она несет и загорелись желанием также служить молодежи в Кении.

Daily free meal programs in the Furunzi slums continue 🍲
It costs only $10 (or 800₽) to feed one child for an entire month.
In our world, that’s about two cups of coffee. In Africa, it can represent a day — or even a week — of hard labor for someone.
These school meals are not just about food. They give children a sense of security, stability, and confidence that today they will go to bed with a full stomach, even if their parents were unable to earn money or bring food home.
And of course, it’s also an opportunity for them to grow and develop physically, becoming healthy and strong young men and women.

Right now, in the Mpirani settlement, on the grounds of the local PEFA church, our team is drilling our 27th well with clean, free water 💧
Honestly, this well hasn’t come easy. The drilling took three weeks, as most of the ground here is made up of layers of clay and rock, which are difficult both for the drilling equipment to pass through and for the pump to draw water from afterward.
That’s why we had to drill an additional 10+ meters deeper to reach proper water-bearing layers.
We are now testing the water, but as you can see in the photos, people are already coming to collect it. For me, this is always a sign that we chose the right location and that all our efforts are worth it—a place where people truly had no access to water and the need was very real.
We are now finishing the above-ground structure, installing the plaque, and completing the final touches. By the end of the week, we’re planning to hold a grand opening! 🙏🏼

Сейчас в поселении Мпирани на территории поместной церкви PEFA мы с командой бурим 27-ую скважину с чистой и бесплатной водой 💧
Честно, эта скважина дается нам совсем непросто. Бурение заняло 3 недели, в этом месте бОльшая часть грунта- слои глины и камней, через которые сложно проходить как буровой установке, так и насосу качать воду после.
Именно поэтому мы дополнительно бурили более 10 метров вглубь, чтобы дойти до почвенных слоев.
Теперь тестируем воду, но как вы видите на фото, люди уже приходят ее набрать. Для меня это всегда знак, что мы выбрали правильное место и все наши усилия стоят того. Место, где у людей действительно отсутствовала вода и проблема была более чем реальной.
Сейчас мы уже заканчиваем наземную конструкцию, крепим табличку и заканчиваем отделочные работы. В конце недели планируем провести торжественное открытие!🙏🏼

From the very beginning, our vision and foundation in building schools in the Furunzi slums and the village of Mwangaza has been Christ—we wanted education to include a strong spiritual component.
Throughout all these years, we have been striving to bring to life the dream that God placed on my heart.
In the most recent Bible lesson, the children learned about the fall of Adam and Eve. They watched a film about it in Swahili, then discussed what they saw and answered questions.
To help them absorb the lesson better, the final part of the class was a creative activity. Divided into groups, the children used modeling clay to shape Adam, Eve, and the serpent. The figures turned out very fun and unique, and we always encourage imagination and creativity 😉

И на протяжении всех этих лет мы стараемся воплощать ту мечту, что Бог положил мне на сердце.
На последнем Библейском уроке ребята разбирали грехопадение Адама и Евы, смотрели об этом фильм на суахили, затем обсуждали увиденное, отвечали на вопросы.
Чтобы информация усваивалась лучше, последней частью урока была лепка. Разделившись на группы, малыши лепили из пластилина Адама, Еву, Змея. Получились очень забавные фигуры, но мы всегда поощряем воображение и фантазию😉
