School supplies distributed to 165 students in Furunzi
At the start of the new semester in Furunzi, 165 students received essential school supplies: a notebook, pencils, and an eraser.
Malindi Bring Life Academy is a Bring Life Mission school in the Furunzi slum area of Malindi, Kenya. More than 250 children from low-income families study here in a safer and more organized environment.
Project Overview
In Furunzi, the school began in extremely difficult conditions. Children studied in old classrooms, sat on dirt floors, and needed daily support. Today it is an active school where children receive education, care, and a safer place to learn.
Over the years, Bring Life Mission has built new classrooms, a kitchen, toilets, water access, school grounds, and continues to develop the academy.

School Story
Denis Lapteykin began serving in Furunzi after seeing about 150 children studying in extremely difficult conditions and sitting on dirt floors.
The first support included meals, school supplies, clothing, basic care, and regular visits to the children.
From 2018 to 2020, the first classrooms were built from metal sheets, followed by a stronger building with a concrete floor.
Bring Life Mission built a kitchen, installed a stove, brought water to the school, and began improving the school infrastructure.
In 2024, new classrooms, a teachers’ room with a library, toilets, a fence, a gate, a playground, and improved grounds were completed.
