Christmas Programs for Children in Kenya
Every Christmas we tell children in Kenya about the birth of the Saviour.
Christmas is the warmest time of our ministry
About the project
Christmas is a special time in the ministry of Bring Life Mission. In these days the hearts of children and adults in Kenya are especially open, and we tell them about the birth of the Saviour and about the One this celebration is for.
We prepare plays with the children, show films about the life of Jesus, hold festive services — and give children Christmas gifts. For many of them this is the only gift they receive all year.

How this tradition began
Our story
Seven years of giving Christmas
Every year, for seven years in a row, we prepare Christmas gifts for children from poor families and the slums. It has become a cherished tradition of our mission.
Christmas is a celebration, and we want every child to feel it — even a child from the most needy family.

From 400 children to 1,200
In 2024 we made 400 children happy. In 2025 — already 700 families. And in 2026 we want to bring the joy of Christmas to 1,200 children.
Each year more children wait for this celebration — and more of them are ones we can give a smile and hope.

A gift they wait for all year
For many children in Kenya, Christmas is the only day of the year when they receive a gift. That is why we prepare each gift ahead of time, with love and care.
The celebration becomes a chance not only to make a child happy, but also to share with them the true meaning of Christmas.

What happens at a Christmas celebration
How the celebration works
A Christmas program is not only about gifts — it is a living celebration full of meaning, joy and warmth.

The story of Christmas
We tell children and adults about the birth of the Saviour and about the One this celebration came for.

Plays and films
We prepare plays with the children and show films about the life of Jesus.

A festive service
We hold Christmas services, pray and worship together with the families.

A gift for everyone
At the end of the celebration, every child receives their own Christmas gift.
What is inside a Christmas gift
The gift
We want every child to feel cared for. So a gift is not only a toy.
Each gift contains a toy that delights the child and makes the celebration real.
Sweets create an atmosphere of celebration and warmth on Christmas day.
For the family — a food set for the holiday table, so they can celebrate Christmas together.
For families in special need we give additional food sets.

One gift — a whole celebration
Why it matters
For a child from a poor family, a Christmas gift is not just a toy, but a whole event.
A gift tells a child: you are loved, you are remembered, you matter. And the celebration is a chance to hear the story of Christmas and to feel joy, hope and care. We believe that kindness shown at the right moment can warm a heart for life.

Help us give children Christmas
Current need
In 2026 we want to hand out 1,200 Christmas gifts to children from poor families in Malindi.
One gift costs just $4 — a toy, sweets and a food set for the family's holiday table. A small amount, but I believe everyone can give 1, 2 or 3 gifts.
The goal is $4,800 — that is 1,200 gifts for 1,200 children. Every amount brings the celebration closer.
The donation opens in a secure Zeffy form. The platform charges the mission no fees.
