In Malindi, a Christian training session was held for students from one of the local schools. The program was called “Dignity Day,” and it was designed as a full-day event focused on meaningful, interactive learning.
Throughout the session, the facilitator engaged the girls in discussions on topics such as identity, belonging, purpose, puberty, hygiene, dating, and marriage. These themes were addressed through a Christ-centered perspective and a biblical worldview.
The girls also took an active part in the program: they made crafts, drew, and completed different activities. The goal was for the participants not to remain passive listeners, but to be directly involved—truly at the center of everything that took place.
As a keepsake, each girl received a bracelet, popular in Kenya, along with a reusable sanitary pad. The organizers believe that through this ministry, they can touch many hearts and support the girls as they grow in understanding God’s perspective on life.
