In Furunzi, students will receive mattresses and basic food packages

Bring Life Mission is planning to support children who study at a school in the Furunzi slums. The post explains that these are kids from extremely poor families living in clay huts, where they often have only one meal a day—provided as a free lunch at school.

Volunteers regularly visit families and assess their individual needs. At the moment, there is a long list of children who do not even have a proper place to sleep: they sleep on the floor, on mats made of palm leaves, or on torn pieces of foam.

Along with mattresses, the team intends to provide each family with a basic food package including essentials such as flour, ugali, oil, beans, tea, and soap.

Purpose of the support: to help children and their families with safer home sleeping arrangements and access to basic daily provisions.
