In August, the team visited 5 families connected to our students.
In all the photos shared, only women are present—something the post describes as very common in Kenya. The message notes that husbands and fathers often leave women to care for the children and do not take responsibility for the family, which means a woman must raise the children on her own and figure out how to feed them.
That is why these visits are presented as a huge, tangible support for the families involved.
In September, the organization plans to bless 5 more families with mattresses and food packages.
