The 9th well project in Mshongoleni, Kenya, has officially been opened. The team shared that the event was special for several reasons.
First, this was the first time they used the hydraulic drilling method at this site. Second, it is described as the most expensive borehole they have drilled so far, due to both the water depth and the sandy soil conditions.
The post also notes that for Maria, the project sponsor, this was already her third well supported together with the team in Kenya. The author says she will share an additional testimony about how her heart was moved to contribute in a future post.
For the first time, local administration officials—and even media representatives—attended the well opening. A TV report was prepared about the team’s work, and the author was also able to give an interview.
Most importantly, the focus remained on the people the project serves. The whole village came to the opening, including adults and children. Everyone sang, danced, and celebrated together as they praised God for His mercy.
Looking ahead, the team says their main focus right now is collecting for Christmas gifts. After that, they will begin work on the 10th well, with an opportunity for everyone to take part. More details will be shared later.
