Bring Life Mission teams visit families in Furunzi ahead of plans to expand daily meals

Bring Life Mission team visiting families in Furunzi during Christmas holidays

It is important to understand who you are teaching and serving. To do this, Bring Life Mission aims to maintain close contact with the children in the school and with their families.

The best time for visits is during the Christmas holidays. Right now, the team is visiting families in Furunzi almost every day.

These visits help the team better understand each child’s challenges, needs, and living conditions. They also support decisions about whether a child should be added to the list of those receiving free daily meals through the project.

At present, daily meals are provided for 70 children. Starting in January 2025, the organization plans to expand the program, with a goal of providing daily meals for 200 children.

After completing visits to the families of its students, the team will begin reaching out to other families in the Furunzi slum area.
